SG50: T-shirt Design Competition

During Singapore’s 50th year of independence in 2016, a T-shirt design competition was held in my constituency. My entry was an illustration that constituted well known landmarks based from different cultures in Singapore: The Pinnacle@Duxton (Singapore’s highest residential estate), The Buddha Tooth Relic Temple, Masjid Jamae and Singapore’s icon – The Merlion.  This highlights the modern advancement of the society and signifies how the country comes across as a multi racial and harmonious society.

The red signifies the bloodline of all Singaporeans, and that we are connected regardless of race, language or religion.

I was honoured to be awarded as first place in the competition and was printed on gifts that were given out to residents in the constituency.
